~Comargo Camp, Abigail's birthday, Helping my parents, Strait Creek Men do a project.~

 Welcome back!

This is my Sweetheart's "BIRTHDAY WEEK!!!"

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY DEAR PHILLIP!!

He is one of the most Godly God-Fearing Men that I know!  He loves me and his family more than words can express!!  He also Loves our people on our 2 Mission Fields, The Christian Nation Church Ministers, their families, and everyone from CNC, Our Supporters, our friends everywhere, and our Strait Creek Church People!

He spends HOURS Praying for all of the above, as well as others! It seems he is always running to help someone here or someone there.  His time is not his own, He is always reaching out and touching other lives for Jesus!

How I love him , and am Thankful to Jesus that I get to be his wife and helpmeet. <3

~COMARGO 2025!~

I am excited to blog about our Dear Comargo Camp!! We have been a big part of Comargo Camp since around 1996.  I used to bake the rolls for Sunday dinner, ahead of time at my house, and freeze them, so that Grammy E. had fresh rolls, already baked, without having to use her busy Sunday ovens for them.

Our family Loves this Holiness Camp, on the outskirts of Cinci... in Loveland.  It has fed our souls Spiritually and fed our bodies physically for many years now!

It is one of the highlights of our summer! We love the services, the prayer meetings, God's sweet presence, the fun fellowship, the staying on the grounds, the yummy meals, the youth activities, and each year I "give up a lung" for the Stars to win during the Stars and Stiffs game.  :-)

Now, Here are those pics.

~The Lord sent in a wonderful trailer for our family to use!  It was a Huge answer to prayer, since we now live 1 hour and 1/2 away, and it is too hard to drive back and forth.~

~It was so fun to get to help Grammy E. in the kitchen again this year.
It has been about 3 years since I was able to "Comargo" like I normally did.
2 years ago, I lost my shoulder and could not lift anything over 5 lbs.
And SADLY during that Comargo is when Sarah started miscarrying their first baby. :-(
And Last Comargo, Jesus had just sent Josh and Sarah their sweet little Adelynn!!

~The Lord used the Ryans singing to encourage and bless us.~
~The Lord helped Bro. Goings as he shared.~

~On Wednesday, We were PRAYING a lot for our dear friends, the McDowells, as they were leaving that day for their mission field!  Their oldest little girl had the stomach flu, and we could not imagine, trying to fly internationally with a sick one.
~Yummy pork Nachos and cheese.~
~We always look forward to a yummy breakfast each morning.~

~The girls helping Nate set up the teams.~
~Dear Ms. Linda.~
~A couple afternoons I helped with the crafts for the 3-6 year olds.~
~Nate did a great job with the youth.~

~Noah worked at The Lunch Bucket that week, since the ladies from The Lunch Bucket were doing the Children's services for Comargo Camp.  Noah got off work around 3:30 or so each day, so got to join in on some of the youth activities.~

~The Lord used Bro. Fuller as well.~

~One evening at the snack bar, Bro. Campbell was reminiscing about Comargo Camp and life to Nate and Karra Becker and myself.
He was telling all he did to help fix up the tabernacle and that he and others had built the dinning room.
I was so glad to snap this pic of the Tabernacle and dinning room behind him.
It was so neat to hear him tell how they have worked hard, invested, and prayed for THIS Holiness Camp, and prayed that it would STAY HOLINESS AND be there for their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, etc.!!  He was so pleased to tell me that all of his children, Grandchildren, and Great Grandchildren are very much a part of Comargo and come!! ~

~The Lord really met with us during the morning prayer meetings!
I was carrying some heavy burdens during this camp, and had a great time pacing the sidewalk toward the ballfield and bringing my petitions to Jesus!
Each morning, Noah got to come to the early morning prayer meetings, eat the yummy breakfast, and then head to The Lunch Bucket.~
~Tara acting like she is giving "flowers" to Jimmy.~
~Dear "Mom Sankey", Mrs. Campbell, Tiffany, and myself.~

~Since I some gift cards left over from The Lunch Bucket, it was so fun to run there a couple times during Camp.  And how fun to see our Noah.~

~I got the Banana Pudding and it was yummy.~
~Craft time again.~

~It was fun to have our cousin Kaden B. at camp.  I think there just might have been a special "Ella" reason he came. :-D ~
~Snapped this sweet pic of God's presence close,
and of Dear Bro. Hawn and Carter.
They became fast friends.~

~Highlighting verses that encouraged me during the sermon.~
~Then Carter wanted to go up and pray, so Bro. Hawn went with him.~

~Love these ladies...Tiffany & Martha.~
~The Flings had us over for a fun snack and a missionary heart-to-heart.
And there were quite a few laughs too.~

~It was so fun to have my nephew Jeremiah and niece Sophia at Comargo some.~
~This morning we had such a neat visit over breakfast about what God is doing among the Native Americans!!!  Nate was telling us such sweet stories of the Men Arise in South Dakota, as well as how God is helping a man in his church.
There were lots of tears, and Thankfulness to Jesus for how He is working !

Clayton wanted in the pic.  :-)

~Carl got bored and came to help his Mom and all of us in the kitchen. ~

~It was so DELIGHTFUL to have Kimberly and baby Stella come on Thursday.~
~We snuck to The Lunch Bucket...and to see our Noah again.~

~It was fun that Tiffany and Faith Fuller could go along with Kimberly, Stella and I.~

~One of the youngest "Lunch Bucket fans", our blue eyed Stella.~

~And then what a DELIGHT to have Josh, Sarah, and Adelynn come Thursday evening!~

~We wanted a family pic, but could not find Elijah anywhere.  Finally, Abigail found him working in the snack bar.  So, we threw in Pastor!!~
~Visiting with the Goings.~
~Adorable x's 4~

~Stella does not want to take a pacifier, but surely is interested in Adelynn's when Adelynn is around.~
~Elijah working in the snack bar.~

~I was so happy that my parents could come on Friday morning.~
~Moma and Jean Nunley have been friends for nearly forever. ~
~Daddy taught Jeremy Fuller years ago at Penn View, when Daddy taught a special Jan. term.~
~We met Linda Massengill when I was 18 months old.~

~I thought this was neat to see this local farmer standing in the back.  He never wears shoes.
Bro. Campbell was telling me that Years ago, it was this farmer's Daddy that loaned Comargo Camp the money to buy 5 more acres.  Comargo Camp used to only own 1 acre!  Praise Jesus for that farmer and his kindness to God's work and people.  Of Course, Comargo Camp paid him off.~

~It was wonderful that Chris, Kimberly, and Stella could join us on Friday.~

~So fun to see RaeQuelle.  She is like a sister to my girls.~

~Our Strait Creek Church had charge of the water sports for the 7-12 years olds.
Before we started I ran to our camper and made up some yummy ice coffees for the girls and I.  Complete with cold foam on top.~
~The girls and their babies sat over to the side and watched the water sports.  This is an old colorful sheet that I grew up having on my bed.~

~The teenage water sports were intense!
You could not have paid me to get out there and slip around in that soap and water and kill myself.  HA!

~They were playing slip and slide soccer with a SPONGE.
~I believe this is where Noah and Kenton Melton were against each other.
Noah was determined to WIN no matter what!!
So, he grabbed that sponge in his mouth and DRUG Kenton with him to make his goal!! :-D

~Noah came up with a goofy slide, and won. ~

~Little Carolina!~
~I love it when little Adelynn does this "OH" with her mouth!!~
~Noah was so happy that Jake came and they could play octaball again, it has been years.~

~Entertaining babies during camp.~

~Happened to be out at night and saw them pushing this truck over to in front of the tabernacle. Not sure if it was a joke or not.  Such a cool truck.~

~On Saturday, right before the Stars and Stiffs game,
DJ and Benji circled our ball field several times.~

~I ran to DG and found this crazy thing to put in my hair.  I Love to go all out cheering for the STARS!!  Each year, the Stiffs nearly carry us away, for they are middle-aged or older people that are used to just plodding along...and each year the Stars add new ones to their team, the shy new teen that is not very confident in batting, or catching, all up agains the seasoned ball players.
Sooooo, I always scream, yell, and pray for the STARS!!!  :-D~

~Kimberly and Holly went on a Medical Brigade together years ago.~

~Cade and Noah~
~The Lord helped Bro. Mills to do an excellent job teaching S.S.~

~We were so happy that the Fields were able to come down to Comargo Camp on Sunday morning, and stay for Sunday dinner.~

~Sunday afternoon, we all put up our mission displays for the mission's service.~

~Elizabeth, Kimberly, and Stella.~

~The Children's Program.
The Susan / Campbell ladies did such a great job with our children.~
~Such a cute theme.~

~It was so neat when they had the young people join them on a song.~

~It was so nice that Mrs. Ruby and Jim could come Sunday night.~

~Taking down the tent.~

~A new coffee shop in Hillsboro.  (It has been there a little while, I just have not gone there.)
Pretty Yummy.~
~Emily A. did a great job sketching this of Chris, Kimberly, & Stella.~

~Sarah gave us Girls the challenge of getting rid of 496 things during August.
I am pleased to say, that since we redid the girl's room, and Elijah sorted out some clothes, and I sorted out clothes and things, and we took Labor Day Saturday, to work on our shop, we got rid of WAYYYY more than that!!!
We gave lots of clothes to dear friends who have children younger than ours,
donated some to a Christian Thrift Store in West Union, and
have thrown away lots!
Praise Jesus!!!  And what a great feeling!~
~Mom D. gave us this neat humming bird feeder.~

~Little Tiny Abigail and Raegan.~

~Youth Night out after CNC.~
~One day, just when Kimberly was going to get out of the pool,
Little Stella fell asleep in the pool!
So, her Mommy swam a little longer while pulling her around the pool. :-) ~

~Little Stella wearing Abigail's old little Jumper.~
~Driving back from church (Going very SLOWLY) with our 3 riding on the back.~
~Tan little summer feet!~
~Helping my parents chop some wood.
Andrew and a lot of his family showed up, as well as quite a bit of ours. So fun that Kate and her 3 kids were there.
Sooo fun to be together!~
~We arrived first, so Phillip and Elijah gave it their all...and then about 30 mins. later, Andrew and Tyler and Taylor arrived.~

~Little Basil Loves his Papa~

~Almost all done~

~All DONE!!~

~Daddy and Moma took us to pizza for supper.
DELICIOUS PIZZA!!!!~

~Baking with Gram.~

~On Saturday, Chris, Kimberly, Stella and Noah came.~

~Kimberly made a yummy dinner and brought it to Gram's house.~
~And we enjoyed some of Gramp's tomatoes as a salad.~

~Gram showing Stella the baby dolls with which all of Gram's grand girls have played.
I think that my parents, "Gramp and Gram," have 18 Grand children, and maybe 17 Great Grand Children! ~

~Fresh Peppers from The Fields
And fresh Cucumbers from U. Bill!~
~A hummingbird sitting on my lights on our front porch.~
~Organizing!!
Abigail got rid of a ton of clothes.  She has done great organizing what she kept.~

~Abigail turns 11!!!~
~Mary did Adelynn's hair.~
~Making hot chocolate and having a girl's slumber party with Sarah.~
~The morning of Abigail's birthday, we were trying to run out the door to go shopping in Cinci, (for the girls' room)
So, I really hadn't planned to set a pretty breakfast table.
But, then Josh, Sarah, and Adelynn had decided to stop by the night before and surprise Abigail!
They SURPRISED ABIGAIL to PIECES!!!!
She was sooo HAPPY to have them...and so were we!
So, when I woke up, It dawned on me, that I needed to make breakfast AND set a pretty breakfast table.
I prayed that Jesus would help me find some pretty plates in my SHRINKING Stash of pretty paper plates! :-)
I was so happy that when I went to my shelf of paper plates....the Lord helped me find some paper plates (5 leftover plates) that matched my centerpiece...so I could set a pretty table for my Abigail's birthday.
Abigail told me later, that she thought that the ONE PLACE SETTING that was different (because I ran out of paper plates) was SPECIAL,
AND JUST FOR HER!! ~

~Things are started to look "FALL-ISH" around here!
Come sit on our front porch with us.~

~The girls sold their loft bunk bed and got money for single bed frames. With the extra bed money,  and with what Mary had saved, and what Abigail got for her birthday, they were able to completely redo their room.
So, on Abigail's birthday, Kimberly, Stella, Mary, Abigail, and I ran all over East gate and found the new supplies for their new room.  It has turned it out so cute!
Pics to come later.~

~Then we went to UDF to get ice cream.
Abigail didn't know that the Klines were meeting us there, to surprise her for her birthday.
She was so Surprised and HAPPY to see Eily and Ellany walk in!!

~Eily got this fun Highland Cow notebook for Abigail!!
~Ellany got this adorable Highland cow for Abigail.~
~Pastor Paul and Stella.~
~Mary and Elijah playing prelude.~
~The day before Dad's birthday we ran up to spend the day with them.~

~STRAIT CREEK CHURCH PROJECT!~
~One Saturday, a few weeks ago, our family plus Chris, Kimberly, and Stella, ran up to help Josh, Sarah, and Adelynn get some projects done and get their church and grounds ready for the Lord's day.
It was so fun and so fulfilling, that we decided that once in awhile we, as the Strait Creek Church, will take a Friday or Saturday and help someone on a project!
We decided that our next project would be U. Bill's side walk.
While at Dad and Mom D's house on Friday, we had told them that the next morning we were going to pour U. Bill's side walk.
Before we left Dad and Mom D's house, Dad D. decided that if Elijah would stay the night at their house, then he and Elijah would come down the next morning, to surprise his brother Bill.
So, On Saturday, Aug. 23rd, (Dad D's birthday) we all showed up at U. Bill's house to help them pour their side walk.
WERE THEY EVER SURPRISED when Dad D. showed up!!
:-D
It MADE U. BILL'S WEEK to have his baby brother come see him and his new little property!!
~Jesus has given U. Bill and Cousin Laura the neatest little country home.~

~I planned a picnic lunch to eat on their nice spacious front porch.~
~Cousin Laura provided the nice Fall Tablecloth.~
~Cousin Laura gave me the orange and yellow party crepe paper.~
~Sweet Kimberly brought cookies to enjoy.~

~Uncle 'Lij and Stella traded hats.~

~It was so nice to have Dad D. with us, and have his expertise on the side walk job as well!~

~Getting done!!~

~Looky! Looky!
IT is Getting DONE!!!!~

~All ready to eat!~
~Stella in her Little "Stella Mobile" that Elijah and Abigail made for her.~

~A cookie for Dad's birthday.
(He really isn't a sweet eater, so I didn't make him a cake.)~

~Grandpa wanted to see Chris and Kimberly's little place.~

~Going for a drive to see the Lake that Chris and Kimberly wanted to show us.~
~Such a beautiful sunset!!~
~As we were driving to the lake, Noah and I were dying to get good pics of the sunset, and then we came around the corner and arrived at the lake, AND THERE IT WAS!!!!
GOD IS AMAZING!!!~

~Since The guys were gone on Abigail's birthday,
I set another birthday table for her on Sunday.
It was so FUN to have Grandpa with us!!!~

~Most Wednesday mornings finds me on my front porch, Praying on a Zoom Call for MEN ARISE!
I join a group of sweet ladies and God really MEETS with us as we pray
for the leadership of Men Arise, their wives, and families,
for all the men, young and old that attend, for Each Event,...
and that God truly will give us
"GODLY. MANHOOD.TODAY!!"
