~PYC, Hobe Sound Quartet Here, 4th of July~

We were so happy to get to go to PYC (Pilgrim Youth Camp) this year!  The kids were happy that the Spivey kids were coming too.

Please enjoy LOTS of fun pics from PYC...And also having my nephew Bryan Hausman and the Hobe Sound Quartet here!

After both Sarah & Kimberly got married, Aunt Beth said we needed to have a family reunion in the summer, because if we do not plan it, we will not see each other in the summer.

So, we decided on the 4th of July weekend.

Some of us hadn't seen Grandpa and Grandma since January. We actually got all together on the 5th, and had so much fun!

~A fun pic from Father's Day 2015 in Argentina.
We had so much fu having Kara and Bethany B. with us then!~
~Anthony sent this from his memories of 8 years ago.
That's our little Abigail!
~PYC 2025~

~Look at that adorable dolly Adelynn. Since she lives nearly 3 hours away, I don't get to see her as often as I want to.  Both her and Stella melt this Grammy's heart.~
~Mary and Maren were pretty stoked to be on the same team!!~
~Elijah hit a home run the 2nd time he got up to bat.
All in all he hit 3 that week.
He was pretty happy.~
~One of the dear guys from Josh and Sarah's church.~

~Dodge ball~

~So fun to be with Josh, Sarah, and Adelynn.
Since they were team captains, Sarah and I didn't get to see each other as often as we would have loved to, but since I was alone, they were so sweet to let me sit with them during services.~
~Cousin Bryan and little Adelynn.~
~The Lord really helped Bro. Jaime B.  Such important practical truth and clear holiness preaching!!
God's sweet presence was so close in a lot of the services!!~

~Snack bar with Sweet friends.~
~All worn out!~
~Friends chatting before the tug-a-war started.~

~Sweet friends!  Abigail enjoyed hanging out with a lot of her sweet friends.~

~Mary & Maren have been sweet friends for forevah!~

~I was so happy that Elijah and Mary said all of their daily Scriptures.  I got to be a bonus Bible receiver as well.~
~Grammy & Sweet Adelynn, we missed having Grandpapa with us.~
~Snuggles~

~Elijah was happy to have some of his friends on his team.
One of them was Caleb F.~

~Dodgeball was pretty intense, since it was so hot, with no shade.~
~Mary's team ready to play.~

~Josh & Sarah's little trailer looked so cute.  They had it all decorated so fun.~
~One day Sarah needed to be somewhere and asked me to sit with little Adelynn until she woke up.  Such sweetness!~

~David Spivey sitting with Josh and Sarah.~
~Bro. John Forsee told these girls to meet him at the snack bar that night, and he would give them each an ice cream cone.  How fun.~

~Sarah asked me to snap this pic of Adelynn riding on her dear Daddy's shoulders.~

~JohnMark, Caleb, and Elijah~
~Morning team devotions.~
~Look at those adorable ponytails.~

~Bro. John Forsee is so patient and passionate about helping these young people get to Heaven.~
~Bro. Jaime and one of his very practical truths.  It was so encouraging to see the altar line with young people serious about serving Jesus!!~
~Cayden and the little girls.~
~One day, Biggby Coffee had a sale, buy one get one for $1.00.  So, I had fun treating Sarah, Elijah, Mary, and myself.~

~Elijah's team playing volleyball.~
~All hibernating while there was a storm outside and a tornado warning.
Thank the Lord for His protection.~
~Serving Drinks with this sweet young lady.~
~And with this one too.~

~Sarah and I in our Red and blue.~
~I was so surprised to find out that John David, who was on Elijah's team, is the son of Shawn P., who I went to school with back when I was 11 and 12.

~Delicious.~
~The 3 stooges...and Jaime.~
~They wanted Josh to eat a very HOT Ghost Pepper Gummy worm.
He turned it down, knowing that he would have an allergic reaction, like he did once before.
We were glad he did NOT eat it!
~It was so fun to meet my sweet friend Elena W. at Biggby.  I was so surprised!
~Snuggles!~

~Congratulating John David after his home run.~

~Sweet Sarah H. and Sweet Mary.~
~I was glad to get to snap this fun pic with Adelynn, Josh, Sarah, Jacob, Duane, Flint, and Elijah.~
~My nephew Bryan worked for about 20 mins. (During the girl's volleyball tournament), to flip this water bottle upside down.
As you can see, he was pretty happy when he finally accomplished it. :-)

~A pic of Elijah and some of his fun friends.~
~Abigail and some of her friends.~

~A Fun pic I snapped of Mary, Maren, Cameron, Elijah, and others watching the Stars and Stiffs game.~

~HOBE SOUND LEGACY QUARTET COMES TO OUR HOUSE AND STRAIT CREEK!

~Bryan and Elijah playing.~

~2 Square on the side porch.~

~Cousin Bryan and Stella~

~Such fun pics from Comargo past.
Little tiny Mary in the front, Abigail and then Elijah in the back.
~Little Mary and Tiny Abigail...and Isaac.~
~While Legacy Quartet from Hobe Sound was here, Bryan wanted to go to the Queen Beanery coffee shop in Peebles.  When we first moved out here in 2019, we took Bryan and Darla to the Greene Beanery and they fell in love with it.
Now it is the Queen Beanery, and Bryan wanted to go back to visit.
We don't go there often enough to realize that they had changed their hours for the summer...so we loaded up 3 vehicles of people to take them to the Queen Beanery...only to get there and find out that they close at 2:00 PM now. :-(
So, we all went back home, and on the way back home, I stopped at Dollar General and got supplies and Noah made us all yummy iced lattes.~
~God really met with us at Strait Creek Christian Nation Church that night.
There were around 38 of us...and God's sweet presence was very close.
Shouting, praising Jesus, worshipping in testimony, etc.
Last year when they were here, someone from our community mentioned that they wished we would have opened up the service for the congregation to testify as well.
So, this year we announced that everyone was welcome to mind God and testify.
God gave us a glorious service.

~It was so fun to have our dear friends Jim and Lila Kemp come for the service.~

~We love these guys so much!
They are welcome to our home anytime.
Micah said that our front porch is his favorite porch to sit on. :-)
~It was so fun to have John Mark and Heidi with us!

~Bryan's birthday was the next day, so his parents sent money to help,
and we enjoyed celebrating Bryan that evening after church with Skyline Chili,
and Dairy Queen Ice Cream cake.

~Bryan and Abigail are Best Buds and Cousins.~
~Friday Morning, we made breakfast bagels...
~Little squishy Stella...in her pink nightgown.~
~And then made that trip back to the Queen Beanery Coffee Shop.
People can put pins on their city or country.
There was already one from Hobe Sound.

~It was so fun to have Chris join
~There they go to their next place.
It is always a delight to have them here with us.~
(And No, Cayden and John Mark are NOT holding hands. :-D )
~Abigail learns to sew with a sewing machine.
She could have sewn earlier, but I run so much that I didn't think of teaching her.
She had fun (and did a great job) sewing a sleeping bag for her American girl doll.~

~Complete with pompoms.~

~Noah never goes shopping with us, he is always at work, so I enjoyed taking this pic of him shopping with Daddy one Saturday.~
~Fish Tacos.~
~We ran up to help Josh and Sarah one Saturday...they had been gone to camp, and we knew how hard it is to get home from camp and do everything before Saturday. ~
~On the way back from Josh and Sarah's it was pouring the rain.
All of the sudden, we came to a STOP because a tree had fallen across both lanes of OUR ROAD!!
~Thank the Lord, Phillip had thrown 2 chain saws in our van, in case Josh needed him to cut up any wood on the church grounds.
So, Phillip, Elijah, Noah, and Chris all jumped out of our 2 vehicles and ran up and cut the branches and threw them to the side of the road!
Everyone around was so HAPPY to have the tree cut up and removed...and even started clapping when Phillip and Elijah ran up with chain saws!
Our guys said it was one of the funnest things they have done for awhile!!

~When we all got home to our house, the electricity was out.
Abigail went around lighting my candles, and it was so relaxing sitting around, eating, and being together.
~Little Stella playin with a toy.~
~Uncle Bill and Cousin Laura are such blessings to Strait Creek Church.  They both are prayer warriors and help lift the load.
Cousin Laura is such a blessing to me.  She plays the piano well, and sings well, and is such a blessing to help with the music both when we are gone or when we are home.~

~Last Sunday night, after church, Phillip whispered and asked me if we could invite everyone over for a scoop of ice cream.
So we did.~

~Helping Grammy at Comargo.~

~She provided the most delicious lunch for all of her helpers.~

~Then we got to go and see Dear Bro. and Sis. Paulus!  I'm sure they would appreciate prayers for a good recovery for Sis. Paulus and that she can come home and they can be together again.~
~2 Little crocs for our 2 adorable Grandgals.~
~Adorable Black and white cloth napkins ...on Major sale~

~I love Chris and Kimberly's lane they live down.
So picturesque.~

Thank you, Noah,
and my good looking Preacher, walking down the driveway to go on a walk to pray.~
~A quick trip to JR's General store off of 41, to get 2 fresh watermelons.~

~LOOOOOK!
The kids were already up with their grandparents for the 4th, and I actually ALMOST emptied my dirty clothes baskets!  WOO HOO!! ~

~I made 2 fresh berry cobblers to take up to my in-laws.~

~I grabbed some of my patriotic decor to take to Dad and Mom's to decorate here and there.~

~Mini Fruit Pizzas~
~I decided to use my new "Snackle box", (Sold at Walmart on line, or Amazon...)
To put fresh fruit in, and ....
~And I bought sugar cookies without icing from Walmart, made a marshmallow creme fruit dip, and everyone got to make their own fruit pizzas.
They were a hit!
~The men, the myth, the Legends.
(I wanted Michael in there too, but he wasn't around.)

~2 fun-loving cousins.~

~Sophia & Mary.~
~Michael grilling.~
~Sophia's cute cupcakes.~

~Michael did all the yummy grilling.~
~Game time...just missing Isaiah!!~

~Catch and Release at the park.~

~The neighbor set off fire crackers, which we enjoyed from Dad and Mom's front porch.~

~Dear Dad and Mom!~
~Phillip, Noah, and I went on a walk.~

~When the babies arrived, they just about got eaten alive!
Baby Stella was the first to arrive and got loved too pieces!!~

~Kimberly made and brought yummy "Fire Crackers"...which we all love.~

~Then Little Adelynn arrived to get loved on too!~

~Looking at Daisy Mae, the Dog.~
~Us Ladies.~

~I wanted to get a pic of the boys...but poor Joshua, had a bl. nose.
Elijah told me to take the pic anyways. ~

~Adelynn and Mary, Sophia and little Stella...with her crawling socks on, so she doesn't ruin her outfits. (We used to do this with Abigail in Argentina.)~

~Kimberly made a double batch of Grandma's oatmeal cookies.~

~Little Stella, snuggles Grandpa.~

~A Pic of Some of the men....
Chris was sleeping, and Elijah and Joshua were gone.~
~So they gathered around poor Chris who was sleeping. :-)

~Michael was being silly, putting on Stella's bib,
So, Beth acted like she was feeding him.:-D  ~

Those grand babies are adorable! Looks like great memories were made. I remember going to youth camp myself as a young person and the wonderful memories we made and victories won for Jesus. Thanks for sharing!

I just loved seeing all the pictures, dear, especially the ones from when you all went to Uncle Bud and Aunt Sherry's house in Greenville! I felt like I was there after all. Lol. 😁 And thank you for your sweet comments about me and Dad. I cried, I was that humbled and touched! 😌 We just feel so blessed to be part of Strait Creek Christian Nation Church and we thank God for leading us here. You all mean so much to us as well! We love you guys!
