~Faith Missionary Association Camp in Mitchell, South Dakota, A little painting project, & 4th of July~

~June 2nd-11th, We were privileged to get to sing for the 10 day camp at Faith Missionary Association in  Mitchell, South Dakota.

You see our family owes a lot to this church.
Years and Years ago, 2 ladies from this church, felt it on their hearts that God was calling them to go to Phoenix, AZ and start a church.  They did start that church and that church is called Gospel Center Church.

Then years later, a couple felt it on their heart to go calling on a poor little girl and her sad family that lived in the Projects.  That little girl was my Mother-in-love, Sherry Dickinson.
Her Daddy was a drunkard and there was little hope for that little family... BUT GOD!

God sent that couple to call on Mom and bring her to Sunday School.  And through that she got saved and started attending Gospel Center church.  Through the years God has continually worked and is still working today to save the rest of Mom's family!!! Mom feels like her parents got saved before their deaths and made it to Heaven.  And she has a brother and sister and other family members saved now as well!! PRASIE JESUS!

I do not know who is reading this today, but remember....
LITTLE IS MUCH WHEN GOD IS IN IT!!!
If each of us stay faithful to God and to what He is calling us to do, only Heaven will reveal the results!!

Later, Phillip got to Pastor the Gospel Center church where his mom God saved and where he was raised.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
The Lord gave us a Wonderful 10 Day Camp!!!  God's presence was so real in the early morning prayer meetings, and in the services!  The Altars were lined with souls getting saved and sanctified as well!!
Bro. Jeremy Fuller could not come until the first Monday night. The Lord really helped those who filled in for Bro. Fuller and God also helped Bro. Fuller when he arrived!
I think Bro. Sam Stuart preached Friday and Saturday nights and Sunday AM.
Bro. Nathan Kline spoke Saturday AM and
Phillip spoke on Monday AM.
Bro. Jeremy Fuller arrived on Monday evening.

Once again, there's A LOT of pics on this post!!
We packed an AWESOME LOT into those 10 days!! :-D

~Pulling up to the Airbnb where we were privileged to stay!
It is so comfy and is decorated so adorably!~
~The owner of this Airbnb was "one of our young people" back when Phillip was pastoring at Gospel Center and we came up to Mitchell Camp and Phillip was the youth worker.  It was so awesome to reconnect with Joel again!  It is so exciting to see what God is doing in his life!

Joel was a dear and had my friend Ashlea stock the Airbnb with our choice of snacks and drinks!  So very Kind!

Our kids freely shared the pop cycles in the freezer with all of their friends.  So half way through camp, I restocked them so they could keep sharing. :-) ~

~It was so fun to coffee in,
sit on the couch, relax,
take a nap,
and just hang out in the Airbnb between prayer meetings and services.~

~Addisen and Mary.~
~Noah and Patrick~
~Phillip's first cousin Heather and her daughter AJ and us.~
~The guys in line for lunch with their disc golfing bags.~

~Mary and Rosie~
~One early morning prayer meeting we prayed for and anointed little Adorable Josiah!
This little boy has suffered a lot physically!  He is so precious!  I fell in love with him and am really asking Jesus to use his little life for Him!!!!~

~Phillip visiting with Sam Lyon~

~Nate Kline getting ordained the first Sunday night.~
~Bro. Lloyd Bley showing us that "ONE SOUL IS WORTH THE WHOLE WORLD!!
The Lord really helped Bro. Bley as he preached for Nate's Ordination!~

~It was so fun to meet other Brothers and Sisters in the Faith that we did not know.  Sam and Trina Stuart have become our dear friends! Bro. Sam did a great job with the youth.~

~Mary and friends helping with dishes!  This is an important part of camp as well!~
~Phillip speaking on Monday AM~
~Bro. Jeremy Fuller and Phillip visiting.~
~One night Ashlea and I put a snack together at the Airbnb.  It was so fun to visit all together.  I wish I could have had others over, But we were pretty crammed into that little place. ~

~There is Dear Joel showing a book to Bro. Lindell and Sam.~
~Noah got his long board years ago (black board on left.)
Someone from Mitchell remembered him riding it, so bought one before Noah came.  Thankfully Noah brought his.
So, often you could see Noah and several of his friends riding around on their skateboards.

~Nate and Wesley Kline and Phillip~

~Zach and Noah coming back from getting coffee.~
~Bro. Fuller~
~Phillip and I celebrated 28 Wonderful years of marriage while there!  I would Marry Phillip all over again!  He is very close to God and loves me and our children with the most unselfish love possible.  I am so glad that I get to be his right-hand lady, his sweetheart, and walk thru life with him! ~
~We ran out for a quick coffee.~
~Mikah and Elijah~
~That night the camp sang Happy Anniversary to us in church.  ~
~Sweet Ashlea and I!!  I love that girl to pieces.
Like I said last post, Ashlea and I used to go thrift storing back in our AZ days.  I was a new Pastor's wife there in Phoenix and Ashlea was probably around 15 or so when she would come down and hang out with us.
She reminded me that back then I would pray on the way to the Thrift store, prayers like,
"Dear Jesus, I really would like to find a khaki skirt, a jean jacket, and some white flats, if it is your will."

She tells me that every time I would come home with what I prayed for.

It SURELY WASN'T ME!!!  It was my DEAR HEAVENLY FATHER that cares about every detail and sometimes, Just because He CAN, he gives us the desires of our hearts.
(I've lived long enough to know that He doesn't always see fit to give us every desire, and that is ok!  We love and serve Him for Who He is, not for what He gives.  Although those answers to prayer, surely are a BOOST TO OUR FAITH!!!)

~It was so nice to have Trint and Janette Castle and some of their family come up for a few days.~

~Phillip, Trint, and Bro. Buchannan.~
~There's that adorable little Josiah again!~

~It was so nice to finally meet Pam.~
~Our Airbnb always had a lot of friends inside and around it.  We like it that way!~
~The kids representing the 10 plagues for Bro. Fuller.~

~Bro. Lindell told these girls that if they would sing, "Amazing Grace" in the dining room during lunch, he would give them $50.00 toward the girl's offering.  Others chipped in afterwards.
I think they walked away with $200 for Children's offering! :-) ~

~Phillip took these boys swimming.

~These guys all graduated this year!  2023!!
L to R:

We so appreciated getting to know Bro. Tim Stafford!!
He is a dear Brother!
~It was great to see Bro. Tim Nelson again.  If I understand the story correctly, He was hit by a drunk driver years ago.  :-(   He and his family have suffered so much!  Bro. Nelson is still a wonderful Saint of God! ~

~It was so nice to meet Steve Rothfuss.~

~When Phillip pastored at Gospel Center in Phoenix, AZ, the dear Arnold family lived and worked at Montezuma Indian Schools.
Our family grew very close to them, and considers them like FAMILY!!!
We love them bunches and oodles!!!! It was soooo fun to hang out these day with them!  ~
~Mrs. Becky is "Saint Becky" in my mind!  :-)
I love her so much!!! She was my Doula for Both Sarah and Noah's births. ~

~Phillip and Dear Joel!!~

~A PROJECT
AND HAPPY FOURTH~

~Months back, I got these little night stands at a Consignment store in Cinci.
Phillip and I have never had matching nightstands, so I decided that I really wanted some.
But, I wanted them white.....
~So that is what I did last week!

I painted them white, and now they stand beside our bed.

I am so happy with how they turned out.~

~I made 3 of these pies for the 4th.  Recipe below.
 (I made my own crust.)

~Josh took this fun pic of the girls.~
~We took a double date to Lowe's and Walmart~

~Dear Grandpa grilling.~
~Riding in the go-cart, in the back of the truck.~
~Dear Josh and Sarah took the boys fishing!! And they took these fun pics!~

~Us girls~

~Phillip filled in for a good friend, Steve Harvey, last Sunday AM in his church in Milford, OH.
Phillip and Steve would have gone to GBS and rode to work together.
Steve's sweet wife Kelly and I were roommates at GBS for 2 years!
It is so neat how we have stayed good friends all these years, and our kids are close as well!
The Lord gave us a great service, filled with His sweet presence.
The people there were dear and it was so neat to see how God is working.~

~It was so fun to have Josh and Sarah join us.  Chris and Noah had to work on Monday.  We knew that Noah would come on Monday night, but we didn't think Chris and Kimberly would make it up for the fourth.~

~It was so nice to see Bro. Steve Sturtevant again.~

~Mom makes the best tacos~
~Frying taco shells~

~Grandma bought some fun firecrackers for us to enjoy.~

~In the afternoon of the 4th,
WHO SHOULD WALK IN BUT DEAR CHRIS AND KIMBERLY!!!!
We squealed and screamed and hollared!  We were soooo HAPPY to all be together!!!!~

~These Fun pics came up on FB.
July 2014 in Argentina!!~
Baby Abigail
~Little Mary, Sarah, and Valen~
~Caro and I (July is chilly there.)~

~We had a flat tire this week, Praise Jesus, in Walmart's parking lot.
Sadly, their tire place had already closed!
But, Thank the Lord, they were still there and fixed our tire.~
~A dear Neighbor lets us use their pool some during the summer.~
~Camp Victory is coming up and our family is excited.
Phillip is in charge of the morning prayer meetings.  We are praying for a wonderful Camp with God's sweet presence very near!!~

I loved sharing these pics with you!

This is uncle John, I enjoyed seeing the pictures, a nice trip down memory lane. We lived in your AirBnb years ago. It was good to see Steve Rothfuss in the Mitchell pictures.

Dear Uncle John, It was great getting your comment! That is so neat that you lived in that Airbnb! I'm sure it was a walk down memory lane to see pics of the inside of it now. Yes, it was neat to meet Steve Rothfuss. I'm going to go back and add his name into my blog. Phillip wasn't around when I was posting my blog, so I couldn't remember his name. :-) Thanks bunches for stopping by. Love y'all! ~Heather~
