~Sorry...I've been at youth camp and couldn't blog. =) ~

We are so GLAD that Jesus worked it out for our family and my sister and her family to go to CYF (Christian Youth Fellowship) in PA!
Our Kimberly and Sarah had never been to a youth camp before, so we worked this into our deputation..and will forever have GREAT MEMORIES of our 4 days there.  Lots of playing volleyball, softball, kickball, team work, Bible quizzes, games, experiencing the sweet presence of the Lord in our services, teens testifying, eating yummy meals, taking LOTS of pics, etc.
~Where the ball fields were there is a great play ground for the younger kids.~

~Sarah and Darla playing ball.~
~Kimberly playing kickball. (Due to our being missionaries, our kids never get to practice some of these games, so they were a little nervous, but Jesus helped them.=) ~
~Phillip and Sarah~
~Cousins enjoying youth camp together.  L to R: Sarah, Darla, Kimberly, Brittany, and Natasha.~
~Hobe Sound trio singing.~
~The first night they divided the young people into 4 teams, so in this picture Kimberly and Sarah were up front to be picked for a team.~
~Sarah and Darla serving fruit kabobs for the first night's snack. I was glad that Sarah and Darla were on the same team.~
~Kimberly was on a team by herself, but thankfully she hit it off right away with Faith that attends Penn View.~
~Sarah and her team playing volleyball the first night.~
~Sarah playing kickball.~
~Noah and his cousin Bryan.  They can't WAIT until it's their turn to come to CYF!~
~Darla and Mary.~
~Kimberly and Aunt Laura serving.~
~There was a good group of kids at CYF!~
~Kimberly and I loved this little baby and tried to hold him as often as we could.~
~Our good friend Becky, Laura, and I in the kitchen.
I didn't help in the kitchen much, for most of the time when I offered, they already had enough help.  So, I went around taking pictures so that our girls and their cousins would have pics from their youth camp, and I also encouraged them as they played their games and sports.  (I pray over EVERYTHING even when it's on the ball field. I get quite involved praying and cheering when it's one of my family on the team. =) ~
~One afternoon Laura and I helped Becky make a quadruple batch of brownies for camp.  While we were baking our boys took a swim in Becky's pool.~
~The young people practicing for a Choir special.~
~G.B.S. quartet practicing to sing that night.~
~One night they had goofy games.  One of the games was each team was to decorate a cake.  If they did it in a Biblical theme they would get extra points.  Each team member had 30 seconds to draw something on the cake.~
~Here's Sarah and Natasha doing their cakes.~
~Here's Kimberly working on her team's cake.~
~Kimberly's cake won 2nd, I think.  Their picture was a boat on water with Peter and Jesus walking on the water. ~
~Chris Adams (the girls Co-coach) and Sarah, and Darla.~
~Somewhere the camp found one GOOD LOOKING guy to help time the games.  That's MY PHILLIP on the left there using his cell phone to time the teams.  =D~
~Mary loves her cousin Natasha~
~Natasha and Brittany's team before Tim from G.B.S. left.~
~Brittany and Kimberly after they had played softball.~
~Sarah and Darla and their cute blouses.~
~Then they had a Stars and Stiffs game and Phillip played with the Stiffs.  One of the Stiffs hit a home run so here are all the guys at home plate to give him FIVE!~
~Our boys (Noah, Bryan and Elijah [who's laying down] ) got on top of the dug-out.
~You should have heard me PRAYING for Phillip as he played Softball.  My prayer went something like this: "Dear Jesus, Phillip's been on the mission field serving you and hasn't been able to play softball for a long time...could you PLEASE make up the difference. " =D  Jesus helped him and he played great. ~
~I played the piano for 3 of the services.~~
~Our family visiting after service on Sunday.~
~L to R: Brittany, Natasha, and Kimberly...in her GREEN shoes.  =) ~
~Since Brittany and Kimberly were wearing blue, green, and white they wanted a picture of just them.  ~
~Laura and her man.~
~Me and mine. =) ~
~Sarah and Darla serving fruit cups on Sunday.~
~Mary after she had eaten her fruit cup. =) ~
~Elijah watching some kids play Uno.~
~Becky's Katie helped take care of our little Mary.~
~Each team did a Biblical skit and sang a song.  Here's Sarah's team doing their skit.~
~Kimberly's team doing their skit.~

~Natasha and Brittany's team singing their song.~
~Kimberly doing Bible quizzing.~
~Kimberly's team singing their song.~
~Sarah's team singing their special.~
~Our Mary laid down on the floor in the tabernacle to watch. =) ~
~Mary and the camp president's little boy.~
~Penn View brass group was playing and Mary used a ink pen to be her "trumpet."
~L to R: Natasha, her Daddy Daryl, Brittany, Faith, Kimberly, and Laura.~
~Brittany, Mary, and Natasha.~
~Kimberly and Julia Stetler.
We didn't get pics but we had fun having a "hoe down" playing a couple songs on the violin together (and I was on the piano) before Julia had to leave.~
~And another part of our  "hoe down" was with Brittany and Natasha playing.  There were others who played songs, but we didn't get pics of everyone.
CYF was a BLAST!  It was very encouraging Spiritually and a growing experience for our girls.  They had such fun being with their cousins and meeting new friends too.~
