~Our Last Sunday in Colombia~

PLEASE PRAY FOR US AS WE FLY HOME TO THE USA TOMORROW (LORD WILLING), TUESDAY, MARCH 12th.
PLEASE PRAY THAT JESUS WILL  HELP:
1. Us to have a safe trip
2. Make all our connections (We have 2 connections after we leave Bogota.)
3. Our kids' ears not to hurt
4. All our suitcases and things to arrive safely.
THANK YOU!!!    =)
~Jesus gave us a good last Sunday.
Wait!   Can there be such a thing as a GOOD LAST SUNDAY???  =(
It was a hard Sunday and we and others shed lots of tears, but we had a nice service.
Here's quite a few pics for you to enjoy.  Some of them got out of order, but I need to be packing, so will leave them that way. =)
Here's Noah with his 2 dear friends Nicolas and Adrian.~

~Sarah and Gaby love singing together.  Sarah, Kimberly, and I will miss being a part of the music here.~
~The Lord helped Phillip to preach.~
~Kimberly and Natalie taught Sunday School.~

~Noah and Nicolas saying goodbye.  Thank the Lord Nicolas wasn't crying, so that I didn't bawl this time telling him goodbye.  Pastor Jimmy plans on picking him up for church on Sundays.~
~After service we had a delicious meal at Pastor Jimmy and Sis. Farly's house.  Pastor Jimmy's parents, Bro. Jaime and Sis. Sofia gave the kids chocolate eggs with a toy inside...to enjoy.  Here's Mary with hers.~
~They gave me some yummy cookies and the top box of candy is to go to my parents from them.  YUMMY!~
~Bro. Jaime gave Phillip a nice pair of jeans and a shirt with his work's name on them.  He told Phillip they were for him to wear to work on our USA house and think of Bro. Jaime wearing the same uniform... working here in Colombia.  =) So nice! ~
~Elijah with his "Amigo Mio" ...Friend of Mine.~
~Phillip cooked the turkey one of our neighbors had given us for our Sunday dinner.  Sis. Farly made the rest of the Yummy meal!~
~We had a wonderful afternoon, laughing, shedding some tears, talking, sharing, and reminiscing.   We LOVE this family tons!!~
~Phillip and I eating Sunday dinner.~
~Natalie, Gaby, and Sarah eating Sunday dinner. (Sarah and Gaby had been lying down for a nap for they weren't feeling the best.)~
~Since our kids are going to travel and sing on deputation and since our youngest 2 are very SHY about singing up front, I let them "practice" on our Bogota church.
As you can see, Elijah covered his face, but at least he sang.  Mary mouthed some words.  =)~

~At the end of the service Bro. Jimmy and the church prayed for us.  So Special!!!  We value this church's prayers for our family!  We feel very honored to have gotten to work with Pastor Jimmy and Sis. Farly!  They are DEAR Saints of God who have become our FAMILY!!!~
~Sarah, Gaby, Carolina, Alejandra, and Laura saying their goodbyes.~
~Phillip and I with Mrs. Zulma.  She needs lots of prayer.~
~Poor Sarah and Gaby cried and cried.~
~Felipe with his little friends Elijah and Noah.~
~Sis. Gloria, Bro. Jaime, and our family.
PLEASE PRAY THAT ALL WILL GO VERY SMOOTHLY TOMORROW!
As you know from some of our past experiences, traveling internationally can be very STRESSFUL!!!
We're counting on YOUR PRAYERS!  =)

Surely Colombia's loss will be our gain. It is hard to be truly happy for our hearts so love those you leave behind. We are praying and getting ready to go meet that big airplane. Sooooooo glad that Nicolas is going to have friends as dear as Pastor Jimmy's family. Hurry home safely. Love, Moma

I don't know if you are able to find them before you fly out, but the squishy ear plugs are great for the ears. My ears used to hurt so bad until I started using the ear plugs. Now I don't have any trouble when I am on an airplane. I just put them in before takeoff and again before landing.
Hope this helps, and I will be praying for you all.

We aren't acquainted in real life, but I have come to know you and your family through your blog. Will be praying for a safe and uneventful flight, for the children to have no ear problems and all of you to stay well.

Praying for you! My parents are 5.5 hours into their 10.5 hour return flight from Tel Aviv to Newark, NJ as I write. I've never flown, but I've certainly prayed enough for those who do! :-)
Hope to see you guys soon.
